Stone Mills

The Township of Stone Mills covers 71,064 hectares of agricultural lands, limestone, granite, marsh, conservation areas, streams, lakes, and rivers. Our name comes from the many stream-powered mills that once served area farmers. Some have been maintained, others restored, and still others silently watch over their streams.

Our gently rolling hills contain farming communities and prime recreational land for hiking, cycling, fishing, canoeing, and boating.

Please browse the information provided on the left for more information on what the Township of Stone Mills has to offer. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us, or you can visit the Township of Stone Mills website at www.stonemills.com.
